- Classic lashes are individually applied in a 1:1 ratio on the natural lash, perfect for those who are looking for a subtle and simple eye enhancement.
- Classic lashes also come in a variety of thicknesses, with some individual lashes thicker in diameter than others for a customised look.
- Thicknesses range from 0.10mm-0.20mm
- Because of the 1:1 application technique, classic lashes can be applied very naturally or reasonably thickly, depending on how many natural lashes we have to work with–remember, we can only apply extensions to the natural lashes you already have, so those with naturally fine or sparse lashes may be happier looking into the volume technique.

- Lilac Classic lashes are applied in a 2:1 ratio on the natural lash, but can be customized to the individual based on look preference and natural lash thickness and amount
- Lilac Classics utilize 2-4 volume lashes placed as classics (not fanned) on the natural lash. This allows the finer volume lashes to hug the natural lash and thus creating a more secure attachment, consequently resulting in much better retention than traditional classics.
- Thicknesses range from 0.05mm-0.07mm
- The look can be much softer, much more natural, or just a tiny bit fluffier look than traditional classics.
Hybrid Lash Extensions
- A Hybrid lash set is a combination of two technique types: Volume and Classic (or Lilac Classic). This means that about half of your natural lashes will hold a classic lash, and the other half will hold a volume fan (description in next section)
- Taking the best bits from both treatments, Hybrid Lashes will give you a bit more volume than classic, resulting in a fluffy, textured lash extension set that lasts longer than traditional classics.
Volume Lash Extensions
- Originating from Russian techniques
- Volume lashes are the lightest on the market, ranging from thicknesses of 0.02mm-0.07mm.
- Super-light extensions are applied in fans to the natural lash, creating dark sweeps of lashes that really have that wow factor
- I handmake each volume fan during the appointment, taking a predetermined number of lashes from a strip of lashes, spreading them out using tweezers, and wrapping the base of the lashes around your natural lash for maximum retention.
- Fans can range between natural volume, with two or three lashes to a fan (also known as the 2D-3D in lash jargon), to medium volume with three to five lashes per fan (3D-5D).
- Maximum volume sets, for those with extra strong lashes, will create a showstopping lash look for special occasions.
